The Offshore BPO races ahead full throttle
Offshore BPO service is the business to be in. It is poised to be very profitable in the coming years, as more and more companies are looking to utilize Offshore BPO services. Now another company VisualSoft Technologies, has kicked of its Offshore BPO services, and has already bagged a few lucrative pilot projects from some of the US companies.
VisualSoft has announced its plan to set up an Offshore BPO center in the city. Sources said currently a 50-people batch is undergoing exhaustive training at VisualSoft’s headquarters here. The training is being provided for making them culturally fit and stress is also given on accent. The company will operate out of a 30,000 sq ft facility at Ameerpet and have set up a 500-seat Offshore BPO center. The center is expected to commence operations by March 2004.
The pilot projects, which the company has bagged, are from new clients and will be providing them in-bound Call Center services, e-mail processing and Back-Office Processing services. The company’s main focus would be in the areas that are fast growing, such as, insurance, banking, automotive, utilities, retail, airlines and hospitality. The company also has further plans to boost their infrastructure in the near future and develop new Offshore BPO centers in some other cities as well.
